LOOK KEO Blade Carbon Titan Ceramic pedals
The LOOK KEO Blade Carbon road pedals with the revolutionary planchet patent come for 2020 with a new version with ceramic bearings.
The main advantage of ceramic bearings is a long service life. Rounder and harder than traditional balls, they are less sensitive to dust or deposits and guarantee consistency and durability. In addition, ceramics are not subject to corrosion. These physical properties ensure that the bearings last 4-6 times longer than standard steel bearings.
Lower friction is the best-known and most prominent advantage of ceramic bearings. The perfect circular shape and hardness of the balls in combination with optimized lubricants specific for ceramics enable a reduction of the frictional forces acting on the bearing by up to 18%.
