RECORD set 100% racing set, equally well usable for sports hobby riding, more economical equivalent of the Super Record set. Individual components are made of carbon and aluminum. Crank bearings with USB ceramic bearings with excellent rotation. These bearings are a Campagnolo patent.

The RECORD set includes the following components in the basic set: derailleur, derailleur (welded), shifting (including complete cabling), Record 11s chain, cranks (titanium version), center cups (BSA thread) and MONO-DUAL brake shoes.

The kit does NOT include a cassette. Please order the CASSETTE separately in the "11s CASSETTES" SECTION.

ATTENTION: if you require a different thread for the center cups, or a Press-Fit adapter, please state this fact in the notes.

The Record 11s derailleur for the 2015 model year is made of carbon (guide and center part of the parallelogram), technopolymer with carbon powder (upper and lower parts of the derailleur body) and duralumin (rear part of the guide). Dural and strength steel were chosen for the production of screws and rivets. Compared to the previous model, its geometry has been significantly revised in such a way that it now offers even faster and more precise shifting (especially in the middle part of the cassette)
The derailleur is universal, i.e. it can also be used (without any modifications) for the new 11-29 cartridge.
The derailleur is ONLY compatible with 11s systems (Super Record, Record and Chorus) from model year 2015.

The Record 11s derailleur has been significantly redesigned for the 2015 model year (just like the Record derailleur). Both the derailleur body and its guide have been modified to work best with the new shifter and the new 11s shifters. The derailleur shows an overall higher stiffness and offers faster shifting to both large and small gears (the derailleur is able to shift under greater load). The new guide then enables (together with the new Record shift) the use of all 11 pinions without the need to adjust its position (when the large converter is engaged). The body of the derailleur is made of duralumin. The outer guide is then made of one piece of carbon, the inner guide is made of duralumin alloy. Screws and rivets are made of duralumin and steel. The derailleur is ONLY compatible with 11s systems (Super Record, Record and Chorus) from model year 2015.

GEARING ULTRA SHIFT Record 11s for the 2015 model year has undergone significant modification of the internal mechanism. The shifter is equipped with a carbon brake lever with a design groove in its upper part. The lever mechanism is mounted on ball bearings ensuring the smoothest operation under any conditions, the internal mechanism is equipped with steel and duralumin parts. Shifting (the only one on the market) allows up to 5 pinions to be shifted at once. The larger shape of the lever body provides a more comfortable palm support. The levers are equipped with modernized rubber Vari-Cushion sleeves. No-Bulg cable routing technology ensures a precise lever shape without unwanted bumps. The package now includes a mechanism for adjusting the pretension of the derailleur cable.

CASSETTES Record 11s are made of titanium (3 largest pinions), duralumin (two Alu carriers of the top two triples of pinions + lock nut) and steel (8 smallest gears with chrome-nickel surface treatment). Cassettes are offered in the following sets: 11-23, 11-25, 11-27, 11-29, 12-25, 12-27 and 12-29. All 11s cartridges are compatible with each other between individual 11s sets.

CHAIN The Record 11s is a 5.5 mm wide chain that was specially developed for use on an 11-speed sprocket. The outer links are made of a special type of steel, the chain has Ni-PTFE anti-abrasion treatment and hollow pins. Campagnolo chains are known for their reliability and high durability. All Campagnolo 11s chains are compatible with all 11s system kits.

CRANKS ULTRA TORQUE Record 11s for the model year are perhaps the biggest design surprise. Campagnolo left the traditional shape of the cranks and developed completely new cranks. For the cranks, the proven system of connecting two semi-axes with the help of a single screw (Ultra Torque system) has been preserved. Cranks are traditionally made of carbon fiber. To achieve the lowest possible weight, the cranks are hollow and fitted with steel half-axles, the connecting screw of which is also made of steel. Special USB bearings with low rolling resistance are part of the axles. Also new are the converters with adjusted ramps for faster shifting, which are now not attached to each other, but are bolted directly to the cranks. This integrated derailleur mount allows all derailleurs produced by the combination to be mounted on one type of crank. The converters are tightened to the cranks with light duralumin screws. Cranks are offered in lengths of 170 / 172.5 / 175 mm and in gear combinations 53-39/52-36/50-34. Weight: 651g (170mm 50-34 combination).

CENTRAL BOWLS and ULTRA TORQUE ATTACHMENTS
Record center cups are made of duralumin and are offered in two threaded versions: ENG (1x37x24T) and ITA (36x24T). Adapters of the Press-Fit system are then intended for frames that have threadless center couplings. Adapters are produced in the following dimensions: 68x42 / 68x46 / 86.5x41 / 79x46 / 86.5x46 Weight: 29 g (Press-Fit adapters) / 45 g (threaded bowls).

BRAKE PADS
Record 11s are offered in two versions: DUAL-MONO with a lightened rear brake shoe, which is mounted on only one pin, or in the DUAL-DUAL version with two pins and the design of both shoes. The brake pins are mounted on industrial bearings. Both types have hollow brake shoes (SKELETON version). The brakes use a system of replaceable (plug-in) brake blocks, which are stored in duralumin shoes. Brake pads allow comfortable adjustment in all directions. Weight: 284 g (DUAL-MONO type) / 303 g (DUAL-DUAL type).
