I wonder if this (similar) fork can be used on the 2017 GT Karakoram Sport bike. The wheels are 29, QR mounting, disc brakes - PM mounting, 100 mm travel. However, the frame has a "tapered Head Tube" with a head composition "Integrated seal bearing, 1-1/8" Upper + 1-1/2" Lower".

As I look, I look at different forks - whether spring or air, so the conical shape 1 1/8 by 1 1/2 with a QR axis is almost not there. Is it possible to mount a 1 1/8 AHEAD fork and neck in this frame with some reduction, straight? Or can you recommend something else, affordable (around 100-250 euros) and most importantly usable. I don't ride any big terrain... Thank you

zaujíma ma či, je táto (podobná) vidlica použiteľná na straší bicykel GT Karakoram Sport 2017. Kolesá sú 29, upínanie QR, kotúčové brzdy - PM uchytenie, zdvih 100 mm. Rám má však "tapered Head Tube" s hlavovým zložením "Integrated seal bearing, 1-1 / 8 ”Upper + 1-1 / 2” Lower".

Ako pozerám , tak pozerám rôzne vidlice - či pružinové alebo vzduchové, tak ten kónický tvar 1 1/8 na 1 1/2 s QR osou takmer nie je. Je možné do tohto rámu s nejakou redukciou namontovať vidlicu a krkom 1 1/8 AHEAD, rovnou ? Alebo mi poradíte niečo iné, cenovo prijateľné (tak 100 - 250 eur) a hlavne použiteľné. Žiadny veľký terén nejazdím... Ďakujem

Dobry den prajem,
ano, pravda, konicky krk a QR oska je pomerne nestandardna kombinacia. Skor by sme mozno odporucali opacny variant - vyuzit moznost pouzitia konickeho krku, ktory zvysuje tuhost vidlice, a skor volit model vidlice s pevnou oskou a prepliest koleso na novy naboj, prip. zakupit komplet nove koleso s nabojom urcenym pre 15 mm pevnu osku.
