The EVOL air chamber offers even more sensitive operation.
Factory Series models have a Kashima Coat finish on the piston rod and chamber for the smoothest possible operation.
Technology:
DPS FLOAT: Thanks to the new double-piston system, it is possible to adjust the compression in three positions for the shock absorber while riding: open, medium, firm. Every rider can thus adjust the compression according to their requirements in every terrain. All-new double piston provides solid lockout without losing high sensitivity. In open mode, you can achieve excellent shock absorption and ride control. Factory Series shock absorbers also have the option of fine-tuning the open position in three steps.
FLOAT air suspension is light and offers a responsive response. As a result, even the smallest shocks are dampened regardless of the rider's weight or compression setting. The linear spring curve gives the EVOL shocks smooth upper-range suspension response, extra support in the mid-stroke and a more definable bottom line.
EVOL: The completely new modified one-piece large-volume air chamber EVOL significantly reduces the force required to tear the damper from its rest position by processing small bumps. The smoothness of the ride can be adjusted with the help of internal delimiting inserts allowing the rider to fine-tune according to specific requirements.
