Hayes Dominion A4 Regular hydraulic brakes

The Dominion brake is tuned for the shortest possible dead stroke and a sharp engagement point.
The Dominion A4 brake uses four pistons. The caliper is cold-forged and features unrivaled rigidity. The KingPin safety fastening screw also increases the rigidity. The 4-piston caliper is equipped with two vent holes that ensure optimal venting. The position of the brake caliper is adjustable using a 2mm screw.
Featuring a motorsport-inspired bleed system, premium DOT 5.1 fluid and Kevlar hose, the hydraulic system is designed for maximum performance at all temperatures and easy maintenance.
The brake lever has a ball bearing with tool-free freewheel adjustment. The main purpose of the lever is to achieve the highest possible braking force using the little finger. This prevents unnecessary power loss during hard braking. To ensure strong grip, the master cylinder is factory-tuned to the lowest possible idle speed. The Dominion lever is robustly designed and allows tool-free lever width adjustment.
Technologies:
- QuickBite ² system: for sensitive, gentle and quiet modulation of braking force. It dissipates heat and prevents excessive noise generated during braking.
- Crosshair Caliper Alignment System: significantly simplifies caliper adjustment.
- MRC (Modal Resonance Cancellation): minimizes vibrations, thereby reducing overall noise and increasing braking power.
- Low Input - High Fidelity (LoFi): Low resistance system with predictable braking force onset.
- SRL (Stable Rate Link): the same operation of the lever regardless of its distance from the handlebars.
- Flip Flop: the brake lever can be used on both the right and left side.
- Two-Stroke Dual-port bleed system: for perfect bleeding of the brakes through 2 bleeding valves on the brake caliper.
The brake lever is designed for use with Dominion A4 T106 and T100 brake pads and D-Series 160, 180 and 203mm discs.
