- Before riding the bicycle, make sure that the front and rear lights can be turned on.

- Remove the battery and charging cable before performing wiring work or mounting parts on the bicycle. Failure to do so may result in electric shock.
- Be sure to follow the instructions in the manuals when installing the product. We recommend using genuine SHIMANO parts. If screws and nuts become loose or damaged, the bicycle may suddenly overturn and you may fall and sustain serious injury.
- Do not leave this product in an extremely high-temperature environment such as in a closed vehicle on a hot day or near a heater. This may lead to the built-in battery exploding, or flammable liquid or gas leaking from it.
- Do not subject this product to extremely low air pressure. This could cause the built-in battery to explode, or flammable liquid or gas to leak from it. Air transport of this product is not a problem.

- When disposing of this product, be sure to observe all federal, state, and local environmental regulations, as it contains a battery. Disposing of this product in a fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting it, may result in the built-in battery exploding.
