The Dainese Scarabeo line offers the youngest riders the technology developed by the big MTB champions and used at the World Championships. The Scarabeo Air Vest is the lightest and most breathable protector in the range, designed for use in any activity and even on the hottest days when it is difficult to wear more than one layer. The soft Pro-Shape Scarabeo protectors on the back and chest are highly ventilated and designed to faithfully copy the young rider's movements. The structure of the Pro-Shape Scarabeo protectors is inspired by the geometry of auxetic materials present in nature, which, after impact or stress, expand simultaneously in all directions and thus increase the coverage area. Their construction, open to 55% of the coverage area, together with the highly breathable fabric ensures maximum lightness and ventilation, so that young riders can fully express themselves in complete freedom. The back and chest protectors can be completely removed, which ensures greater versatility, while leaving the rider free to choose the protectors that he wears and makes washing easier. The opening zipper is located on the side to ensure maximum extension of the chest protector. The length of the vest allows it to be tucked into its trousers, thus ensuring the stability of the additional protection. The Scarabeo Pro vest comes with the innovative patented Dainese RIBBO system. By cutting special ties that control the elasticity of the fabric, the girth of the garment can be gradually increased as the young rider grows. It can therefore be used for several seasons.
