High compression 215g. Forza 2 fabric with 32% Lycra® content, for exceptional muscle support and compression. Forza material, with 38% Lycra® content, for a perfect fit on the body. Progetto X2 AIR cycling pad with seamless construction, soft to the skin and extremely comfortable.
Minimalist mesh flat straps do not hinder ventilation and hold their position stably.
Back mesh pocket.
The 5-panel construction reduces the number of seams and the possibility of irritation.
Patches with logo and heat-formed lettering for increased durability.
Reflective elements on the back of the pants.
Flat, no-sew finish on the waistband for extra elasticity and comfort.

The Free Aero RC is our top race shorts, which also means they're insanely comfortable, even if you never strap on a number. It's good to say that we've been working on developing these shorts for the last 15 years. It's been a while since the original Free Aero Race Shorts were first introduced as our top race pants. Since then, it has won 3x Tour de France, 3x Giro d'Italia, 1x Vuelta a San Remo, but it has also become the best-selling product in Castelli history because, simply put, these are pants that are good at everything.
The concept is quite simple: we started with the best cycling pad we could make, surrounded it with sports pants with good muscle support and compression, and finally removed everything that wasn't absolutely necessary.
