The water-repellant fabric gives you added protection compared to standard Lycra shorts, and it has mechanical stretch properties that produce a comfortable range of motion. They feature an adjustable inseam length and pre-shaped construction made specifically for your riding position. They're made to wear over your favorite bib shorts on longer rides, and they include two front pockets and reflective details.
