It's a high-performance piece that values comfort and utility, not just professional aerodynamics and minimalism.
The main fabric is a polyester blend with Lycra® for a perfect fit and moisture control.
The basis is actually the same Velocity Rev3 fabric that we use on our Aero Race jersey, but we used about 20% more of it, for all-round performance and better support for the pockets.
We use 3D mesh on the back, as well as on the flat side panels. The pockets are slightly larger than the pockets on our racing jerseys, which increases their carrying capacity, and we've also added a zippered pocket for keys and money. We use a YKK® Vislon® zipper for the easiest operation when closing or opening and an elastic GIRO3 hem around the waist that helps distribute the load. And the cut of the sleeves is longer.
