The perfect jacket for mild winters or for the rider who tends to overheat, this piece features insulated GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabric on the front and sleeves, while the back is stripped of the membrane to allow moisture to escape. It is a non-racing jacket that fits most body shapes.The Mortirolo jacket was designed to be a warm and comfortable jacket on cold days, while preventing overheating and moisture buildup inside the jacket. Choose this jacket for riding in cool but not freezing temperatures, or for high-intensity riding, or if you sweat a lot.
It excels in a wide range of conditions, as long as it's not bitterly cold or raining. It's the combination of the right fabrics and construction that makes it work so well. The upper chest and arms are the most exposed to the cold, so we use a three-layer GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® X-Fast fabric with a luxurious fleece inside for extra warmth. The lower part of the front is made of GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabric with a finely brushed inner side. Both of these fabrics provide 100% wind protection, excellent spray protection and best-in-class breathability. The back is made of our brushed fleece, but it is not windproof, so it lets a lot of moisture out. You will stay dry and therefore warm and comfortable. The jacket has a neutral cut. It's not too tight, so there's room for another layer underneath, but it certainly won't flap around in the wind.
