Castelli PROSECCO TECH women's base layer
This base layer is designed to keep you dry on cool days. It features a two-fabric construction with Prosecco hydrophilic treatment on the main body and PrimaLoft® fabric with less weight on the parts of the body covered by bibs.The first goal of this base layer is to move moisture away from your skin while providing minimal insulation for cool days when your intensity is high and your outer layers are warm enough. The areas covered by bibs around the waist and on the back can overheat, so we used lightweight PrimaLoft® fabric in these zones to equalize temperature. This base layer works best in contact with the skin, so both fabrics are very stretchy and the fit is snug. On extremely cold days, you can use it as the first layer under a Flanders Warm second base layer or under a thermal jersey. It is very effective at wicking sweat away from the body.
