Sigma Sport RC 1209 measures all important information for runners: running speed, distance covered and heart rate. A single sensor R3 is used to record all values. If you want to measure all three values, the R3 is used as a classic heart rate sensor on the chest, where it is fixed using a comfortable elastic belt with Comfortex + electrodes. If you only want to measure distance or speed, the sports tester also comes with a clip, thanks to which the R3 sensor can be placed behind the belt. RC 1209 can also be used while swimming, but only for TF measurement. RC 1209 can also be used for walking, Nordic walking or hiking. Data transmission is digital and coded.
The package includes: RC 1209, Comfortex+ elastic chest belt for heart rate measurement, R3 sensor/transmitter, HipClip holder for R3 transmitter for training without heart rate measurement but with speed measurement and battery replacement tool.
Functions of heart rate monitor:
1. current, average and maximum heart rate (measured with ECG accuracy)
2. the maximum TF is calculated automatically after entering age, gender and weight or it can be set individually (e.g. based on a doctor's measurement)
3. training in 1 of 2 set TF zones: fitness zone in the range of 70-80% of max. TF (training in this zone serves to strengthen basic endurance and improve aerobic performance) or a zone for burning fat in the range of 55-70% of the max. TF (with longer duration of activity and lower intensity, more fats are burned than carbohydrates, or fats are converted into energy)
4. 1 individually adjustable heart rate zone
5. graphic display of the heart rate zone (+ sound signaling when crossing the upper or lower limit of the zone or when entering it, the sound signaling can be turned off)
6. current and total calorie consumption (total can be set)
Running functions:
1. current, average, maximum speed (km/h or min/km)
2. current and total route traveled (km, total can be set)
3. current and total running time (total can be set)
4. calibration and the possibility of entering a correction factor for accurate measurement of speed and distance
