The shock absorber of the CRX/URB 70 S suspension seatpost completely reduces all minor vibrations and smaller bumps. It also helps to dampen sharp impacts from larger bumps or obstacles. This brings a comfortable ride to otherwise inhospitable terrain. The forged head and hardened aluminum provide sufficient strength that will withstand even the toughest conditions. Designed primarily for Cross and Trekking/Touring style riding, but also perfectly suited for urban environments for riders weighing up to 65kg. The spring stiffness can be adjusted using the Allen screw on the bottom of the seatpost. Tightening the screw makes the suspension stiffer, thus more suitable for heavier riders, and conversely, loosening it adjusts the suspension for lighter riders. •      Aluminum 6061 is commonly used in the structural components of yachts, automotive chassis, or even scuba diving pressure tanks.
