Mavic Ksyrium S 28" rear wheel, rim, tire, QR, Shimano HG
A lightweight aluminum wheel for anyone looking to upgrade from OEM products. With Ksyrium wheels, you can significantly increase the performance of your bike.
The Ksyrium S is 60 g lighter than the previous Ksyrium UST model, and at the same time it is wider, stronger and laterally stiffer. Stiffness is optimized using Fore technology.
It does not require the use of rim tape, which saves an additional 30 g per wheel.
The new rim shape makes mounting and dismounting tires easier, and the UST Tubeless technology improves rolling resistance and grip while reducing the risk of punctures.
These rims are made in France, in an aluminum rim factory.
The new Infinity hub platform optimizes stiffness and power transfer with highly controlled wire tension, while the Instant Drive 360 freewheel coupled with automatic bearing preload adjustment (QRM Auto) provides quick engagement and durability.
The Ksyrium S not only drives fast, but also looks fast. Matte painted hubs, invisible rim welding and black spokes give this wheel a premium look that stands out from the crowd.
