Zipp 454 NSW ZR1 SL 28" front wheel
The Zipp 454 NSW tubeless disc wheels are the best road racing wheels. They provide everything a performance cyclist requires. They are aerodynamically efficient and stable in all weather conditions. What's more, the wider rim is designed for tubeless tires with lower pressures to reduce rolling resistance and dampen vibrations, so you lose as little energy as possible on the road. For the best combination of aerodynamics and rolling resistance gain, 28 mm tires are recommended for these wheels. The wavy 58mm-tall Sawtooth rim shape with Hyperfoils is the most aerodynamic and stable rim in the Zipp offering.The 454 NSW features Zipp's Total System Efficiency (TSE), an approach to combat the biggest enemies of speed: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance and vibration losses. And gravity? The use of beadless (straight side) rims on the 454 NSW is an integral part of Making You Faster. With hookless, the transition between tire and rim is smoother and more aero. Zipp beadless rims have more efficient resin distribution during manufacturing, which means lighter and stronger wheels.
The 454 NSW is equipped with a premium ZR1 SL hub with ceramic bearings and 66 engagement points. The hub is also 30g lighter than the predecessor hub on NSW bikes.
