For safety, be sure to read this "user's manual" thoroughly before use, follow it for correct use, and keep it in a safe place for later reference.
The following instructions should always be followed in order to prevent personal injury, damage to equipment or damage to the surroundings. The instructions are classified according to the degree of danger or damage which may occur if the product is used incorrectly.
DANGER - Failure to follow the instructions will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING - Failure to follow the instructions could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION - Failure to follow the instructions could result in personal injury, or physical damage to equipment or surroundings.
WARNING
- Do not disassemble or alter the product. This may cause the product to not operate correctly, and you may fall unexpectedly and be seriously injured.
- Before riding the bicycle, check that the wheels are securely fastened. If the wheel is loose, it may come off, etc., which may lead to a fall and serious injury.
- Observe the total bicycle weight (bicycle + rider + baggage) indicated on the hub main unit. If the total bicycle weight is indicated on the hub main unit, a power modulator is built in to regulate excessive braking force. If the total bicycle weight exceeds the recommended values, braking may be insufficient; if it is lower, braking may be too effective and the wheel may become locked, causing you to fall off the bicycle. Before use, make sure that you fully understand the performance of the power modulator. The power modulator is not an anti-lock device.
- Before riding the bicycle, make sure that the front and rear lights can be turned on.
CAUTION
Never touch the hub dynamo's connecting terminals while riding or rotating the wheels. Failure to do so may result in electric shock.
