The DT Swiss 240 Straightpull BOOST rear hub is a modern, lightweight hub for demanding MTB use, built on the proven concept of simple service and high reliability. Thanks to Ratchet EXP technology, it uses fewer components, reducing weight and wear, while allowing the bearings to be shifted closer to the drive side. The wider bearing spacing increases hub stiffness, reduces bearing load, and extends their lifespan.
The hub body construction effectively distributes riding and braking forces between both flanges and all spokes, reducing unilateral spoke load and protecting the hub, spokes, and rim. The Ratchet EXP freewheel mechanism with 36 teeth offers very direct engagement and reliable power transfer to the drivetrain. Smooth running is ensured by industrial bearings with high-quality sealing. Thanks to the DT Swiss plug-in system, the hub can be disassembled and serviced in minutes if needed.
