MAXIMUM REAR WHEEL PERFORMANCE ON MIXED SURFACES

The R model has a specific design for the rear wheel: added traction for better transmission of power from pedaling and higher braking efficiency, as well as more durability for a fast and confident ride on different surfaces, dry and wet, and with the properties of the SmartGRIP rubber compound. In addition, the casing is characterized by a high level of reliability and a long service life. Excellent combination with the M model on the front wheel.

- SmartGRIP rubber compound (model R) – excellent grip in both dry and wet conditions throughout the life of the tire with increased tear resistance.
- Braid - multi-layer nylon braid with a density of 60tpi for greater reliability and better handling.
- ProWALL – shell construction with reinforced sidewalls for greater puncture protection. ProWALL is lighter and easier to pedal. This construction is intended for riders who like longer rides and a more relaxed riding style.
- TUBELESS READY – tubeless use with simple assembly and durable feet.

We present the first results of Pirelli's work carried out under the supervision of DH legend Fabien Barel and in cooperation with racing downhill and enduro teams. Scorpion™ Enduro is a series of 3 different tread patterns for different terrain conditions, from M (mixed surface), through R (universal rear tire), to S (soft and loose surface), developed to offer a complete range of performance enduro tires for everyday use on trails. Scorpion™ Enduro tires are designed to withstand rough terrain and enable a modern style of riding on faster and more powerful bikes. They provide grip and reliability even in the most demanding use: the patented SmartGRIP Gravity rubber compound guarantees grip in both dry and wet conditions, as well as excellent tear resistance. The jacket thus has a performance that persists throughout the entire service life of the jacket, even after partial wear of the sample.

TPI (EPI)- hustota vlákien kostry plášťa. Čím vyššia hodnota TPI, tým flexibilnejší a pružnejší bude plášť.
Kevlarový plášť- pätka tvorená z kevlarových vlákien. Plášť sa dá skladať, je teda praktickejší pri presunoch či skladovaní. Vyznačuje sa nižšou váhou oproti drôteným plášťom a vyššej odolnosti pred prerazením.
Drôtený plášť- pätka tvorená z drôtu. Plášť je neohybný, je ťažší oproti kevlarovému.
