Fenix HP35R SAR rechargeable headlamp, 4000 lm, black
Fenix HP35R SAR Rechargeable Headlamp, 4000 lm
The extremely powerful Fenix HP35R SAR helmet headlamp offers unparalleled performance of up to 4000 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of 450 meters. Excellent performance was achieved using a powerful Cree XHP70 LED with a neutral tint and a pair of Luminus SST-20 LEDs with a warm light tint and a high Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 94.5. Warm light penetrates fog, rain, and snow better, making it especially useful in adverse weather conditions. The headlamp is equipped with a long-throw reflector and two smaller reflectors with a wide beam. The reflectors can be turned on separately or simultaneously in combined mode. With intuitive control via a rotary and electronic switch, you can handle any situation with ease. The HP35R SAR headlamp is designed ONLY for wearing on a work helmet (not a cycling helmet), and for these purposes, it is equipped with a flexible strap made of flame-retardant and anti-static material. It also has an integrated helmet mount with NVG compatibility. The package also includes 4 clips for easy attachment of the strap to the helmet. If you want to wear the headlamp without a helmet, we recommend purchasing the Fenix HP35R version, which comes with a comfortable textile strap.
It is powered by a 10000 mAh Li-ion battery pack located in a separate housing connected by an adjustable cable. The housing can be worn on the back of the head, attached to a belt, placed in a pocket, or backpack. This increases wearing comfort and better protects the batteries against cold in winter. The battery housing is equipped with a red light with an output of up to 20 lumens, a battery level indicator, and a USB-C charging port. The USB-C charging port also functions as an output, allowing the battery pack to be used as a power bank to charge your mobile phone, GPS navigation, and other USB devices.
The headlamp offers a total of 12 output modes. In the lowest mode with 5 lumens, it provides an excellent runtime of up to 500 hours (more than 20 days). The headlamp body is made of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, ensuring excellent cooling and resistance to damage. This high-performance headlamp with a separate battery pack is specifically designed for search and rescue operations, caving, and work use, but it will also be appreciated by ski tourers, mushers, and enthusiasts of other extreme sports and outdoor activities.
All headlamp parameters (lumen output, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.
Operation of the Fenix HP35R SAR Headlamp
The headlamp is turned on and off by the rotary switch on the right side. In the first position, the headlamp is off. Turning to the second position turns it on in long-throw reflector mode, turning to the third position turns it on in wide floodlight mode, and turning to the fourth position activates a combination of both reflectors. The output modes in each position are cycled by pressing the button on the side of the rotary switch. The red light on the battery pack is activated by pressing and holding the button on the battery pack for approximately 0.5 seconds. Subsequent presses cycle between the flashing mode (5 lumens) and the steady light mode (20 lumens).
Memory for the last set output mode - the headlamp has memory and will always turn on in the last set output mode of the selected reflector, except for the highest modes of the long-throw and wide floodlight, which will activate in the second-highest mode of that reflector instead.
The length of the cable connecting the headlamp to the battery pack can be extended using the extension cable, which is included in the package.
Battery level indication - pressing the button on the battery pack activates the battery capacity indicator (four illuminated LEDs indicate 80-100%, three LEDs 60-80%, two LEDs 40-60%, one LED 20-40%, one blinking LED indicates 20% of remaining battery capacity).
Charging - open the rubber cover of the USB-C port on the battery pack and connect it to a computer, AC USB adapter, or car USB adapter using the included USB-C cable. You can also use any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector for charging. The indicator LEDs on the battery pack blink during charging and remain steadily lit when fully charged. Charging a fully depleted battery pack takes approximately 2 hours when using a USB power source with at least 27W. Using a weaker source will extend the charging time.
Activating USB output (power bank function) - connect the device you want to charge. Activation of the USB output is indicated by the blinking LEDs on the housing.
Intelligent overheat protection - if the headlamp temperature rises above 55°C, it will automatically start reducing its output until its temperature stabilizes. Once the temperature drops below 55°C, the output will automatically increase again.
Intelligent proximity sensor dimming - the headlamp has a built-in protection circuit. When the reflector approaches the illuminated object (to less than 60 mm) for more than 1 second, it will automatically reduce the output to a low mode to prevent damage to the object from strong light and glare from reflected light. When the reflector is moved away from the illuminated object, the headlamp will automatically restore the previously used output level. Turning the intelligent proximity sensor on/off - with the headlamp off, press and hold the side button for 6 seconds. The headlamp indicates activation of the function by two blinks in low mode. The headlamp indicates deactivation of the function by eight blinks in low mode.
Notice
- Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty
- If the headlamp blinks, does not switch to higher output modes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery pack is depleted - charge it
- Ensure the connector on the cable between the headlamp and the battery pack is securely connected
