Fritschi Xenic 10 ski touring binding

The Xenic 10 is a lightweight ski touring binding, ideal for skis up to 105 mm wide underfoot. The Xenic 10 model weighs only 280 g (560 g/pair) without brakes and will be appreciated especially by ski tourers who hike more, care about weight, but do not want to compromise on safety and ease of use. Among other things, the Xenic 10 binding model is the result of modernizing existing Fritschi technologies and offers users various innovations in safety, user comfort, and ride control.

All-new toe and pin jaws from Fritschi

The toe of the Fritschi Xenic binding is completely redesigned. It is the first binding whose pins open and close laterally, i.e. sideways, and do not rotate around a fixed point.

Heel with adjustable release force

The heel of the Fritschi Xenic 10 binding combines low weight with safety features that were previously exclusive to heavier ski touring bindings. The heel platform is wide and offers optimal power transfer to the ski, thus achieving excellent downhill performance. The lateral release force can be adjusted to DIN values from 4 to 10 using the screw on the back of the binding. The precision of the adjustable vertical release force is ensured by independently rotating pins (an advantage over U-shaped pins) from DIN 4 to 10.

Switching between hiking and skiing mode is simple and comfortable thanks to the rotating heel. You can rotate the heel of the binding more easily by 180° using the flipped heel support, which gives you more leverage. The heel can be tilted up to 13 mm before release to prevent unintentional release during impacts and vibrations while riding. Also when flexing the ski, where the distance between the toe and heel shortens, the heel can shift to prevent unintentional release at critical moments and simultaneously avoid damage to the binding.

Excellent skiing thanks to the active heel

The active sliding heel adapts to the ski boot up to 10 mm when the ski flexes during riding, allowing for smooth flexion of the ski along its entire length, which is a necessary feature of a binding for perfect skiing. A binding without an active heel will only cause partial ski flexion, stiffening of the center, and the ski will only flex in front of and behind the binding, which significantly degrades its riding characteristics. Fritschi has eliminated this problem, making the Xenic 10 binding also ideal for excellent skiing enjoyment.

Lightweight and above all safe ski touring binding

The Fritschi Xenic 10 ski touring binding is the best choice for those who want a lightweight and at the same time safe binding for descents without the need to lock the toe. The Xenic 10 binding is designed more for hiking, but it can easily handle descents. You can expect thousands of meters of ascent with it and great skiing experiences.

Easy step-in even on steep slopes

The new generation Fritschi Xenic 10 has an innovative toe piece that you can

Variant Fritschi Xenic 10 skialpové viazanie, červená

SK Nie som s ním úplne spokojný. Niekedy sa zasekáva a je nutné viac krát potočiť pätou aby sa odblokovala brzda.
