Version 2 is enhanced with some modern technologies such as voice guidance during searches, the ability to use the Mammut mobile app. In the app, you can manage your device, update its firmware, and select personal settings. What remains is the very compact and easy operation, high search range, and a clear display with intuitive search visualization. It also includes self-checking functions; the device constantly checks basic functions and parameters of the transmitted and received signal to alert the user to a potential malfunction in time. For cases of multiple burials, the Barryvox 2 is of course equipped with a function that can mark and then filter out the found person so that the rescuer can focus on locating the next victim without distraction.
