POC Base Armor protective shorts, uranium black
The base layer meets European cut resistance standard EN388-2016, level 4 (out of 5), which means it provides the 2nd highest level of protection. The Base Armor shorts, made entirely from a new type of Dyneema® with added elasticity, improve leg protection. A double layer of Dyneema® in key areas covering the main arteries in the legs provides extra protection in the areas where it is most needed.
Base Armor is tailored for ski racers and provides a compression feel, while the addition of stretch material ensures the tights move with the body. An elastic waistband ensures the base armor sits comfortably and securely for racing.
