The items in the kit are not intended for self-treatment, but for a qualified doctor or nurse who knows how to treat the injury sterilely. Sterile equipment helps prevent infection with AIDS, Hepatitis B, and other blood-borne diseases. The Sterile Pre First Aid Kit is made of durable Ripstop material coated with polyurethane, has a waterproof zipper, and a loop for attaching to a belt.
