Storm Care Down Wash & Proof Twin Kit set of washing and proofing agent
A special set developed for cleaning and re-proofing your down garments and equipment. It gently removes dirt from the surface and effectively cleans your equipment. Thanks to the revolutionary cycle, it simultaneously proofs garments and restores their water repellency. It leaves a patented, abrasion-resistant finish without damaging the delicate down.
Down has natural water-repellent and insulating properties, so it requires special cleaning to avoid damaging its integrity. Regular detergents remove natural oils from the down, reducing its loft and thermal properties. Keep your gear in top condition – clean, odor-free, lofty, and with an intact DWR finish.
Instructions for use:
- Place one garment in the washing machine. Do not overload the drum, as technical garments need to move freely to achieve the best mechanical and chemical effect
- Pour 75 ml of Storm Wash into the detergent compartment and 75 ml of Storm Down Proofer into the fabric softener compartment
- Set the washing machine to 30 °C – synthetics, low spin, or a technical sportswear program (if available)
- Follow the garment's care label instructions for drying. First, let the garment drip dry for at least 20 minutes before placing it in the dryer
- Tumble dry on a low heat setting according to the label, add dryer balls, and periodically remove the garment to shake the baffles and distribute the down evenly
