COMPRESSPORT tested this running backpack in real conditions. Specifically, at the UTMB race, for which it was directly developed. As many as 4 runners who ran with the Ultrun S Pack Evo 10 finished in the top ten in the 2021 edition! This proves that with this backpack, you can compete with the best runners.
It is smaller than its predecessor, the UltRun S Pack Evo 15. The Evo 10 is equipped with a new backpack fastening system. The front fastening is a so-called zigzag. This allows loosening around the chest as the pace increases. Thanks to this, the backpack is ideally suited for shorter, more intense performances lasting 6-8 hours. On the chest, there are two easily accessible mesh pockets for soft flasks with a special drinking valve that prevents unwanted movement of the flask. Smaller pockets allow you to easily store keys, energy gels, or used wrappers. Larger pockets at the bottom can hold, for example, gloves, a headband, or additional food. On the left side, there is a diagonal zip pocket. You can put your phone in it, so you'll always have it within reach for route checks or to contact your support team.
On the back, there is a large pocket for mandatory equipment and essentials such as documents, money, or a survival blanket. Two large, overlapping pockets expand to accommodate mandatory clothing and equipment. You can store poles in the lower silicone loops when the route doesn't require them. In line with COMPRESSPORT standards, the vest is highly breathable and moisture-resistant, ergonomic with soft seams for unparalleled comfort. It is designed to be one of the most stable running vests on the current market, with minimal vertical movement off the running trails. The soft part on the front prevents any chafing of the rib cage. Adjustable side straps can be tightened for greater stability on technical sections. Reflective details ensure better visibility in poor light conditions, and the included whistle allows you to set off with complete peace of mind. The UltRun S Pack Evo 10 can be easily combined with the Free Belt for increased capacity on longer distances. It is lightweight and doesn't bounce on your back, making it a suitable choice for fast trails for runners who want to achieve good results.
