ORTOVOX Ski Compression Socks

The SKI COMPRESSION socks are a great companion for the most demanding days on the slopes. The uniform compression function supports your muscles during demanding descents. This means your legs are better oxygenated and fatigue sets in much later. Simply whenever you want to enjoy skiing from the first to the last run, don't forget these socks. It's worth it!

Uniform compression will push you further

The compression effect of the SKI COMPRESSION SOCKS is evenly distributed from the ankle to the calf. The socks thus aid proper blood circulation in the calves and protect them from premature fatigue.

  • During ascents and descents, the calf muscles have to contend with countless impacts and vibrations. The muscles are thus constantly under pressure and can quickly become fatigued. Uniform compression, however, can slow down this process.
  • Furthermore, the SKI COMPRESSION socks fit perfectly and are highly breathable. The ventilation system on the shin and the mesh system on the foot effectively wick away sweat and provide better breathability.

Every zone serves its purpose

The SKI COMPRESSION functional socks excel primarily due to their ergonomic shape. During the seamless knitting process, special zones are created, each serving its specific purpose.

Highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.

  • ORTOVOX sources new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical animal welfare principles
  • Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand in terms of quality.
These farms are regularly monitored within the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological, and therefore also extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a soft feel thanks to the fine fibers from which the fine wool yarns are made. Furthermore, this wool excellently regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition to all this, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial effects, and is very easy to care for.

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims. Except for safety systems and finders, they also offer apparel, backpacks, shovels, probes, and other freeride and alpine equipment.
