Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 Rechargeable Headlamp

The compact rechargeable headlamp Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 features a practical design with two reflectors offering a luminous flux of up to 800 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of up to 125 meters. The reflectors create well-focused beams that illuminate both long distances and close-up areas simultaneously. The main reflector emits cool white light of approx. 6500K (so-called daylight white), and the secondary reflector emits warm white light with a shade of approx. 3000K (the reflectors cannot be turned on simultaneously). Warm light penetrates fog, rain, and snow better, making it particularly useful in adverse weather conditions.



The main reflector offers four lighting modes and a maximum luminous flux of up to 800 lumens, while the secondary reflector offers a maximum output of 500 lumens, also with four lighting modes. The headlamp also features red light, red SOS flashing, and a siren for emergency situations integrated into the strap. Power is supplied by a replaceable Li-ion battery with a capacity of 1900 mAh, which is charged via a USB-C connector directly in the headlamp. The battery can be removed and, in an emergency, replaced with three AAA batteries (these cannot be charged in the headlamp).



Like other Fenix trail headlamps, the HL18R-T V2.0 is equipped with a strap featuring the Sport Fit System with a dial for easy length adjustment. This allows you to quickly and comfortably tighten the headlamp on your head with one hand. The strap is also perforated and features reflective elements for good passive visibility. Thanks to its light weight and construction, the headlamp is especially suitable for trail running, cycling, and skiing. It also serves well for other sports activities (hiking, climbing, camping, fishing...). It will surely provide excellent illumination in any situation!



Turning on/off and switching modes - The right spotlight with daylight white light is turned on by pressing and holding the right button (approx. 0.5s). The left spotlight with warm white light is turned on by pressing and holding the left button (0.5s). The reflectors cannot be turned on simultaneously, but you can easily switch between them by pressing the button of the opposite reflector. With the headlamp off, it turns on to red light by double-pressing either button quickly. Lighting modes are switched by briefly pressing the button of the illuminated reflector. The light turns off again by pressing and holding the respective button for 0.5s.



Locking and unlocking - Locking: Slide the lock switch down according to the mark; the headlamp will flash 4 times in low mode with warm white light to indicate it is locked. If the headlamp was on, it will automatically turn off when locked. Unlocking: Slide the lock switch up according to the mark; the lamp will flash 4 times in low mode with warm white light to indicate it is unlocked.

Memory for the last set output mode - The headlamp has memory and will turn on in the last used output mode of the respective reflector.



Battery replacement - Open the rear battery cover and insert the battery/batteries according to the polarity markings. Replace the rear cover.

Charging - Flip open the dust cover and plug the USB-C charging cable into the headlamp's charging port. After charging is complete, replace the dust cover. The normal charging time is 3 hours with a 5V/1A USB source when the headlamp is fully discharged. The headlamp can only be used in the low mode of either reflector during charging. Four indicators light up and flash during the charging process. Four solid lights indicate that charging is complete.



Battery charge level indication - After a short press of either button (the headlamp must be off), the LED battery level indicator between the buttons activates. Four lit LEDs mean the battery is charged at 80-100%, three lit LEDs at 60-80%, two at 40-60%, one at 20-40%, and one flashing LED indicates the battery is charged at less than 20%. The indication only works with the original battery.



Intelligent overheat protection - When the headlamp is used for extended periods on high output modes, a significant amount of heat accumulates. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 55°C or higher, it automatically reduces the output by a few lumens to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 55°C, the output will gradually increase again.



Low battery warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest output mode. Once the lowest output is reached, the battery level indicator will start flashing to remind you to recharge or replace the battery in time. This only works with the original battery.



Headband - The headband is assembled from the factory. To tighten the strap, turn the dial counterclockwise. To loosen the strap, turn the dial clockwise. By further turning the dial after maximum loosening, the strap will start tightening again, reversing the direction of loosening and tightening.
