Petzl ASTRO INT work harness, Black

The ASTRO full body harness is designed for rope access workers. Its construction is specific for climbing and working from ropes. 3D foam padding and a semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide comfort when suspended throughout the workday. The separable front attachment point allows for efficient installation of necessary rope movement equipment. The integrated CROLL L ventral rope clamp improves efficiency when climbing ropes. The waistbelt is equipped with metal side attachment points, gear loops, and slots for a tool holder, allowing for the organization and carrying of all necessary equipment throughout the day. DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles and FAST quick-release buckles make donning and adjusting the harness easier and faster, even with gloves.

Ultra-comfortable construction:

• Thin sliding straps provide greater freedom and ease of movement
• All contact zones, including shoulder straps, waistbelt, and leg loops, are padded with 3D foam and lined with breathable material for greater comfort when suspended
• The semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide optimal positioning and support when suspended
• Metal side attachment points can be folded down to prevent accidental snagging when not in use
• Elastic keepers on the leg loops and waistbelt (replaceable and available as accessories) allow the harness to maintain its correct adjustment while walking and suspended
• Aluminum ring on the back of the waistbelt for attaching a chest harness

Efficient equipment integration with the separable front attachment point:

• The CROLL L ventral rope clamp is attached directly to the front attachment point for greater efficiency and freedom of movement when climbing ropes
• The PODIUM or LITEPOD work seat can be attached directly to the attachment point's pin, so the load is directed straight to the descender and the user has great freedom of movement at the attachment point

Comfortable adjustment system:

• The shoulder straps have a FAST quick-release buckle on the left side for easy donning and doffing, and a DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckle on the right side for easy adjustment that stays put
• The waistbelt is equipped with DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles and can be fitted with anti-slip clips (included but not installed)
• The DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles are made of anodized aluminum and are easy to handle throughout the harness's lifespan
• The leg loops are equipped with FAST quick-release buckles that are easy and quick to fasten and unfasten, even with gloves

Easy equipment attachment and organization:

• The shoulder straps have a Velcro strap that can be moved up or down and positioned on the left or right side to attach an ASAP'SORBER fall arrester
• There are lanyard attachment points on the shoulder straps for fall arrest lanyards
• The waistbelt is equipped with two foldable side attachment points for attaching a positioning lanyard in double mode
• Seven shaped gear loops with protective sheath, two CARITOOL tool holder slots, an INTERFAST attachment system, and two TOOLBAG holsters
• The rear attachment point has a fall indicator
