Product description

A light and durable avalanche probe made of hardened aluminum with an innovative PFA automatic locking system, with which you can assemble the probe in one movement directly when removing it from the package. The system works reliably even in severe frosts, and thanks to the conical taps, you can assemble the probe easily and without snagging. Together with the intuitive color marking on the individual parts, the probe will significantly speed up the rescue of the buried. For instructors, mountain guides and for all those who often undertake demanding winter hikes in the mountains.

Intelligent depth marking

Marking a depth of 1 m will decide for you from which direction to dig and save so many precious minutes during the rescue .

kick from the side if the marking is 1 m below the snow,
kick from above if the marking is above the snow surface.

This recommendation is based on the latest IKAR methodological guidelines. When digging, the penultimate blue part serves as a warning that you are approaching the backfill. The last neon-orange part at the end of the probe is a warning for more careful digging to avoid injury to the buried. The probe has a depth marking of 5 cm.

Quick and easy assembly of the probe using the PFA system

The automatic PFA locking system allows the probe to be assembled quickly with one movement. The system does not freeze, and you can fold the probe in one movement right when you take it out of the package - just pull the wide strap of the probe. Conical approaches will help you assemble the probe easily and without snagging. When unfolding, just press your thumb to release the system. Controlling the probe is easy, even if you are wearing gloves.

You can rely on the probe even in hard snow

The diameter of the probe is 13 mm and provides sufficient rigidity.
The material of the probe is duralumin alloy 7075 Alu T6, which is used in the aviation industry and is characterized by high strength.
