The Mountain Equipment GLACIER 450 LONG down sleeping bag has an upper material resistant to water and wind and is still very breathable. The sleeping bag is filled with duck feathers and, together with the elaborate construction, will allow you to sleep comfortably even at -9 °C.DRILITE® LOFT
DRILITE® LOFT 30 D is a strong and light (55 g/m2) waterproof surface material with a PU coating, which makes a great bivouac sleeping bag. It also has a water-repellent DWR treatment on the surface, which contributes even more to keeping the feathers dry even in wet conditions. The feathers are thus protected from getting wet and thus also from losing their heat-insulating properties. Thanks to its water resistance and low weight, the feathers maintain a high loft for maximum thermal insulation in any conditions.The SUPERSOFT 30 inner material is chosen for its low weight (49 g/m2), high breathability, exceptional durability and pleasant feeling to the touch. It is also a feather-proof material.
Quality duck feathers with 700+ fill
Very high-quality duck feathers from China contain at least 90% down, their filling is at least 700 cuin and meets the ethical DOWN CODEX®. The feathers are gently cleaned with water without chemical treatment. This destroys mites and the environment for their life, which will be appreciated by allergy sufferers. Every year, the farms from which Mountain Equipment buys feathers are inspected by the independent Swiss organization IDFL to meet the highest quality parameters. This guarantees a high quality of living conditions for the animals and thus also the quality of the feathers. One does not work without the other.
