Straight backs are happy backs! Kånken was created back in 1978 to help prevent spinal problems in Swedish schoolchildren and quickly became a common sight in preschools and outdoor schools across the country. Today, 35 years later, the Kånken has straightened millions of backs around the world and has become one of Fjällräven's most popular products.

This classic backpack is just as suitable for trips to and from school or work as it is for trekking and traveling. The material is a durable, lightweight Vinylon F fabric that is able to resist dirt and moisture. The spacious main compartment has a large zip opening for easy packing and unpacking. It has two flat side pockets and a front zip pocket, ideal for small items that you want to always have close at hand. The included PE foam cushion is stored in the inner back pocket, where it prevents the contents of the pack from sliding against your back - and is always within reach when you need to rest and sit down, wherever you are. The carrying system is simple but practical and consists of handles at the top and slim, adjustable shoulder straps. The logo on the front is reflective. It also has an address label inside the main compartment.
