Northfinder DRACI jacket, red
This jacket is designed as a protective layer for year-round use in conditions of rain, humidity and wind. This three-layer hardshell jacket is suitable for hiking, alpine skiing, running or cycling. Thanks to its lightness, it does not take up much space in your backpack and you can always have it at hand in case of bad weather. The jacket is made of high-quality material Pertex Shield 20K/20K with DWR treatment. Pertex® Shield is a waterproof and breathable fabric based on a microporous membrane. It prevents the penetration of water and at the same time allows the evaporation of excess moisture from the body, thus keeping you dry and comfortable. The material is also light and durable, ideal for activities where weight and compactness are crucial.
All seams of the jacket are taped and all YKK® zippers are waterproof, which ensures reliable waterproofness. To prevent cold air from entering, we chose a slightly elongated cut for this jacket. This ensures a higher degree of thermal comfort and protection. The hood is 3D adjustable and designed to fit a mountaineering or alpine skiing helmet under it, and also features an extended and reinforced peak to prevent direct rain. The ends of the sleeves are adjustable with Velcro. The bottom hem of the jacket is adjustable with an elastic band.
Two large zippered side pockets are positioned higher to allow convenient access even when the backpack belt is fastened at hip level. Side zipper ventilation, without mesh, ensures optimal air flow. The top of the main neck zip can be secured with clips - this can be used for example for ventilation if you don't want the zip fully closed but still want the jacket closed at the neck. The jacket is also equipped with reflective elements for better visibility in low light.
