Knitted for Maximum Comfort During Demanding Performance

For ORTOVOX 120 MERINO COMPETITION LIGHT underwear, the structure and fabric weight are adapted for each part of the body to ensure the underwear wicks away sweat as effectively as possible. This is achieved through "body mapping" created by seamless knitting. In areas where the body sweats more, the fabric is thinner, while in more stressed areas, it is thicker. These zones allow for maximum breathability where it is most needed.

Thanks to the seamless knit and the combination of the finest merino wool with elastane (70% Merino wool + 30% polyamide), ORTOVOX 120 MERINO COMPETITION LIGHT underwear achieves high elasticity. At the same time, the high proportion of very fine wool provides extra comfort during demanding sports performance.

Finest Merino Wool

ORTOVOX uses only the finest Merino wool from Tasmania for all its underwear. Merino wool is a material that degrades negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. The length of all fibers used is at least 6 cm, which is not standard in the production of wool underwear. The longer the fibers, the stronger the yarns that can be obtained. This prevents the formation of holes due to material wear. The quality of fibers is determined primarily by their length, fineness, and uniform diameter of individual fibers.
ORTOVOX also has demanding criteria for sheep farming itself, which significantly influences the quality of their wool. To meet these, ORTOVOX buys wool only from selected farms that are subject to regular inspection. ORTOVOX inspects 64 different quality criteria that each farm must meet. Thanks to this, the wool used in ORTOVOX underwear is of the highest quality.
