Petzl VOLT WIND EU work harness

Full body harness VOLT WIND for fall arrest and work positioning, designed for working on wind turbines. It is easy to put on thanks to the FAST LT PLUS and FAST LT automatic buckles, which allow it to be put on with feet on the ground. The wide, semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide excellent support. Its light and breathable construction maximizes airflow. The LADDER CLIMB ventral attachment point allows the fall arrester to be connected to a fall arrest system with a rigid or flexible anchor line. The rear of the waistbelt and the dorsal attachment point area have a plastic protector against abrasion and damage when moving inside the wind turbine pillar. It is certified according to European and Russian standards.

Quick and easy donning:

• Waistbelt equipped with a FAST LT PLUS automatic buckle for quick and easy unbuckling and buckling, without loss of size adjustment, even with gloves on
• FAST automatic buckles on the leg loops allow the harness to be easily put on with both feet on the ground, the buckles retain their size adjustment even when unbuckled
• DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles on the waistbelt and shoulder straps for precise adjustment
• The padding on the leg loops can be repositioned for perfect positioning

Comfortable throughout the workday:

• Plastic protectors on the rear of the waistbelt and at the dorsal attachment point protect the straps from abrasion and ensure optimal comfort when moving inside the wind turbine pillar
• Wide, semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops for excellent support, its light and breathable construction maximizes airflow
• Padded shoulder straps are cut wide to prevent chafing on the neck when the waistbelt is loaded, they help distribute the load on the shoulders
• The special LADDER CLIMB ventral attachment point is positioned lower, closer to the waistbelt, and adapts to each use: ascent, positioning, and occasional suspension. It offers the possibility of connecting a fall arrester lanyard, a descender, or a fall arrester on a rigid or flexible anchor line. In case of a fall, the attachment point automatically moves up to the chest position to ensure the body remains in a vertical position after the fall
• Side attachment points allow the installation of a seat for greater comfort during prolonged suspension

Easy to use:

• Side attachment points can be folded down to prevent accidental snagging
• Holders for MGO connectors on the fall arrester lanyard loops located on each shoulder strap, in case of a fall, the system releases the MGO connectors and allows the fall arrester to be activated
• Material loops, CARITOOL tool carrier slots, and TOOLBAG equipment pouch allow for easy organization of work equipment
