Petzl TREESBEE anchoring sling for arboriculture
The TREESBEE anchor strap, sometimes also called a cambium saver, is used to anchor a rope in the crown of a tree so that the rope slides smoothly over the anchor point. At the same time, it protects the bark (cambium) of the tree from abrasion. It is designed for ropes with a spliced end (the spliced end passes through the smaller ring). Galvanized steel rings provide high durability.
Anchor strap designed to facilitate movement in the tree crown:
- Protects the tree and improves rope passage over the anchor point
- Can be installed and retrieved from the ground
- Wide, strong strap limits twisting
- Strap with large and small diameter rings for ropes with a spliced end (spliced end passes through the small ring)
- Triple thickness of the strap on the side of the large ring reinforces the strap for easier retrieval
- Can be used by two people during rescue
- Galvanized steel rings for greater durability:
- Diameter of the large ring (inner/outer): 46/70 mm
- Diameter of the small ring (inner/outer): 28/52 mm - Can be used with a 30 mm diameter retrieval ball
- Available in two lengths: 90 and 110 cm
