The practicality of the headlamp is enhanced by the ability to remove the light from the head mount and use it as a small pocket flashlight. Additionally, the headlamp is equipped with a removable steel clip, allowing you to easily attach it to a pocket, belt, or any strap. The end of the flashlight is magnetic, making it easy to attach to any ferrous surface. The headlamp offers a total of three power modes in white light and electronics with a runtime extension function; in 300 and 50 lumen modes, it gradually reduces power to achieve longer lighting times (see runtime graph in individual modes). Red light can be activated in steady or flashing mode (both at 5 lumens).
Very decent parameters, a low weight of only 86 grams (including an alkaline battery), and an affordable price make the HM23 V2.0 suitable for a wide range of sports, hobbies, work, and everyday activities. It is ideal for evening runs on roads, camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting. It will also serve as an emergency flashlight in your car for unexpected situations, and thanks to its high durability, it is also suitable as a work headlamp for demanding conditions.
All headlamp parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.
When the headlamp is off, it turns on to the last used white light mode by pressing and holding the button for 0.5 seconds.
When the headlamp is off, it turns on to the last used red light mode by double-clicking the button quickly.
When the headlamp is on, it turns off by pressing and holding the button for 0.5 seconds.
If the headlamp is on, you can cycle through the power modes by short pressing the button in the order of 3 - 50 - 300 lumens (when turned on to white light) or red 5 lumens - red flashing (when turned on to red light). The flashlight has memory and will always turn on in the last set mode (applies to both white and red light).
Low battery warning - if the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest power mode. After reaching the lowest power, the headlamp will flash 3 times every 5 minutes to remind you to replace the battery.
Headlamp lockout - when the headlamp is off, press and hold the side switch for 3 seconds. The headlamp will flash 4 times in red mode to indicate it is locked. It can be unlocked by pressing and holding the button again for 3 seconds. Accidental activation of the headlamp can also be prevented by loosening the battery cap by approximately a quarter turn.

Usage
Unscrew the battery tube cap. Insert the battery with the positive pole facing the headlamp, and the negative pole towards the cap.When the headlamp is off, it turns on to the last used white light mode by pressing and holding the button for 0.5 seconds.

Notice
- Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty.
- Remove the battery from the flashlight if you will not be using it for a long time or if it is discharged. Otherwise, especially with disposable batteries, leakage and damage to the headlamp may occur.
- If the headlamp flashes, does not switch to higher modes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is almost discharged - replace it.
- The battery tube cap is loose, tighten it.
- The electrical contacts are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
