Petzl NAJA tree anchoring system
Arborist cambium saver strap with integrated pulley and strap with multiple diameter adjustment positions that can be easily retrieved from the ground. NAJA allows the installation of a work rope without damaging the tree. The strap has four different adjustment positions to adapt to branches of different diameters. Rope ascent and movement in the tree canopy are optimized thanks to a highly efficient pulley, which facilitates rope passage through the anchor point. The included retrieval ball allows for easy retrieval of the system from the ground.
The adjustable cambium saver allows installation of the work rope without damaging the tree:
- The strap has four different adjustment positions to adapt to branches of different diameters
- The special design helps protect the tree
- Comes with a replaceable, highly visible 1.5 m strap that can be extended by connecting another 1.5 or 2.5 m strap for larger diameters
- Easy rope installation using the MINO carabiner supplied separately as an accessory
- Recommended for double rope techniques (DRT/MRS); the system can also be used on single rope techniques (SRT/SRS) (more information in the user manual)
Optimal efficiency:
- The integrated high-efficiency pulley optimizes rope passage through the anchor point
- Can be used by two people during a rescue
The system is easily retrieved from the ground:
- Black 21 mm retrieval ball specifically designed for this NAJA cambium saver
- Once the rope passes through the pulley, the ball stops at the MINO auxiliary carabiner and the system can be retrieved to the ground
- The strap and slots are flat to reduce the risk of the cambium saver getting snagged in the tree canopy
- The NAJA cambium saver allows work in compliance with the ANSI Z133 standard
