Petzl ASTRO SIT work harness

The ASTRO SIT seat harness is specifically designed for height workers who also perform rope access work and are looking for a lightweight and modular solution. By connecting it to the TOP CROLL chest harness, the seat harness transforms into a full-body fall arrest harness. The 3D foam padding, semi-rigid waistbelt, and leg loops provide comfort throughout the workday. The design of the attachment bridge facilitates movement and ensures comfort while walking. The detachable ventral attachment point allows for efficient installation of the necessary equipment for progression. The waistbelt is equipped with metal side attachment points, tool loops, and slots for a tool carrier, enabling the attachment and organization of all equipment needed for a full day's work. The DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles and FAST quick-release buckles allow for easy and comfortable donning and adjustment of the harness, even with gloves.

Ultra-comfortable construction:

• All contact zones, including the shoulder straps, waistbelt, and leg loops, are padded with 3D foam and lined with breathable material for greater comfort when suspended.
• The textile bridge ensures easy movement at the worksite and also better comfort while walking.
• The semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide optimal fit and support when suspended.
• The metal side attachment points can be folded down to prevent accidental snagging when not in use.
• Elasticated leg loop and waistbelt keepers (replaceable and available as accessories) allow the harness to maintain its correct adjustment while walking and suspended.
• Aluminum ring on the rear of the waistbelt for attaching the chest harness.

Efficient equipment integration on the detachable ventral attachment point:

The PROGRESS ADJUST or JANE lanyard can be attached directly to the attachment point's pin without using a connector.

• The CROLL L ventral rope clamp is attached directly to the ventral attachment point for greater efficiency and freedom of movement during rope ascents.
• The PODIUM or LITEPOD work seat can be attached directly to the attachment point's pin, so the load is directed straight to the descender and the user has great freedom of movement at the attachment point.

Comfortable adjustment system:

• The shoulder straps have a FAST quick-release buckle on the left side for easy donning and doffing, and a DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckle on the right side for easy adjustment that stays put.
• The waistbelt is equipped with DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles and can be fitted with anti-slip clips (included but not installed).
• The DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles are made of anodized aluminum and are easy to handle throughout the harness's lifespan.
• The leg loops are equipped with FAST quick-release buckles that are easy and quick to fasten and unfasten, even with gloves.

Easy attachment and organization of equipment:

• The shoulder straps have a Velcro strap that can be moved up or down and positioned on the left or right side to attach an ASAP'SORBER fall arrester.
• Connectors for fall arrest lanyards (available as accessories) can be installed on the shoulder straps.
• The waistbelt is equipped with two foldable metal side attachment points for attaching a positioning lanyard in double mode.
• Seven contoured equipment loops with protective covers, two slots for CARITOOL tool carriers, and an INTERFAST connector attachment system, two loops for TOOLBAGs.
