Fenix WH23R rechargeable headlamp, 600 lm, Yellow

Fenix WH23R is a rechargeable work headlamp characterized by high drop resistance, a unique dual-reflector construction, and a hands-free on/off function. The spotlight creates a slightly focused beam with a throw of up to 84 meters, and the second reflector has a very wide and smooth light pattern. The luminous flux of each reflector is up to 300 lumens, and their light can be combined in turbo mode for a total output of 600 lumens. On the side of the headlamp, there is a rotary switch that allows you to select four positions: off - spotlight - floodlight - turbo mode. In the floodlight and spotlight positions, you can switch between three power levels using the button hidden in the rotary switch.

The new Gesture-sensing function allows you to turn the light on and off by waving your hand about 10 centimeters in front of the headlamp. This way, you can keep your hands dirty, oily, or covered in anything while working, and the lamp will remain clean. It is powered by a built-in 2000 mAh Li-pol battery, which is charged via a modern USB-C connector directly in the headlamp.

All headlamp parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Operation

The headlamp is turned on and off by the rotary switch on the right side. In the first position, the headlamp is off; turning to the second position turns it on in spotlight mode; turning to the third position turns it on in floodlight mode; and turning to the fourth position activates the combined turbo mode. The power modes in the spotlight and floodlight positions are cyclically switched by pressing the button on the side of the rotary switch. The headlamp has memory and will always turn on in the last set power mode.

By holding the button for 1.2 seconds, the sensors for hands-free Gesture-sensing control are activated/deactivated. If the function is active and the headlamp is turned on by the rotary switch, it can later be turned off and on by waving your hand about 10 centimeters in front of the headlamp. Whether the Gesture-sensing function is active is indicated by a blue LED on the side of the headlamp.

Charging: Connect the USB-C charging cable to the headlamp and the other end to a computer's USB port, AC USB adapter, or car USB adapter (not included). You can also use any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector. During charging, four indicator LEDs on the front light up sequentially; when fully charged, all remain lit. Fully charging a depleted battery takes approximately 1.5 hours. The Li-pol battery used does not suffer from a memory effect, so the headlamp can be recharged at any time. The headlamp can be used while charging, but only in low mode.
