Grivel Mega K6N carabiner
The Grivel Mega K6N is a large, pear-shaped HMS carabiner with a screwgate lock, designed for safe belaying, rappelling, and more complex rope techniques. The forged aluminum construction combined with a smooth profile allows for fluid rope movement and comfortable handling, even with gloves. The carabiner's geometry provides ample space for knots, belay devices, or multi-point anchoring, making it suitable for rock climbing, mountaineering, and guiding clients.
The Key-lock nose design prevents accidental snagging on slings, bolts, or other climbing gear, increasing comfort when clipping and unclipping the carabiner. The Mega K6N meets CE EN 12275, Class H and UIAA 121 standards, has a length of 117 mm, a width of 71 mm, a gate opening of 21 mm, a major axis strength of 21 kN, a minor axis strength of 10 kN, an open gate strength of 6 kN, and weighs 81 g.
