- HMS carabiner with patented Twin-Gate lock, in this case composed of a wire and a solid key-lock gate
- The Twin-Gate system prevents accidental opening of the carabiner, thus guaranteeing maximum increased safety (no unintentional rope slippage, unclipping from belay, or loss of gear can occur)
- the carabiner is easy to open with one hand, even with gloves on
- thanks to its spacious top part, the carabiner is also suitable for belaying with a UIAA knot (half clove hitch)
- allows use with belay devices, with single and double ropes
- higher gate opening makes handling easier when using thicker ropes or routes protected by larger bolts
- key-lock nose finish on the carabiner prevents unwanted snagging on gear and other climbing equipment
