The Climbing Technology Obx S oval carabiner with a straight gate is hot-forged from a lightweight alloy. It is ideal for lifting equipment and rigging in mountaineering or for rope maneuvers in technical climbing. The carabiner is also suitable for self-belaying at the belay station, for belaying and top-roping, or for use in rescue maneuvers.
The oval shape ensures optimal positioning of the rope and other devices. The ergonomic shape allows for comfortable gate opening and improves handling. Reinforcement at the contact points contributes to better rope glide and increased resistance to wear. The carabiner nose is snag-free, which prevents snagging when clipping and unclipping.
