The outer layer of the ORTOVOX PATCHWORK BEANIE is made from 100% recycled merino wool, ensuring excellent temperature and moisture regulation. The pleasantly soft inner lining fits perfectly and reliably keeps out cold and wind. The fine knit, large logo, and stylish color stripes give the hat a casual look. For environmental protection, the ORTOVOX PATCHWORK BEANIE is produced in Germany using a climate-neutral process.

Proven wool and new technologies

The lining of the hat is made from a hybrid material consisting of 45% Tencel, 43% Merino wool, and 12% polyamide. Thanks to this light blend of fibers, the material is very pleasant on the skin, has excellent thermoregulatory properties, and wicks moisture effectively. The knitted construction of the hat also allows for optimal breathability during ascents and protection against sharp winds.

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool degrades negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.

These farms are regularly monitored within the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological, and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a soft feel thanks to the fine fibers that make up the fine wool yarns. Additionally, this wool excellently regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. Furthermore, thanks to its antibacterial effects, Merino wool neutralizes odors and is very easy to care for.

If you discover a manufacturing defect, whether it's a fraying seam, external pilling, or a malfunctioning zipper, simply send us the product and we will take care of its repair, replacement, or refund.
