Instructions for use:
Before impregnating footwear, we recommend using Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel. Repeat this treatment regularly before impregnation to ensure long-lasting leather water resistance.
Application:
- Shake well before use.
- Thoroughly rub the cream into damp or dry clean leather using the sponge applicator or your fingers. Pay special attention to the seams.
- Wipe off excess impregnation with a cloth and polish.
Drying:
Let the footwear dry at room temperature. You can stuff paper into the shoes to absorb excess moisture. Replace wet paper. Do not dry footwear near stoves or radiators. Drying too quickly can cause leather to crack and damage.
Note:
Before use, test on a hidden area of the item to check for leather darkening. The waterproofing cream gives nubuck a smooth, waxy leather finish.
