Twin dynamic ropes🧗🪢

Double dynamic ropes are used exclusively in pairs. Both ropes must pass through all belay points as if they were one rope, and the individual strands must not be fastened separately. They are suitable for couples on longer routes in mountain climbing and reduce the risk of being cut through the rock edge. On glacier tours, the use of a single rope is not recommended. With these ropes, the second climber must also be belayed with both ropes. The advantages are less weight than a half rope, low risk of both ropes being cut through the rock edge or by falling rocks, and double the length of the rappel.
