The HAUTE ROUTE 30 S backpack design has been improved since winter 2020/21:- It is made of NYLON 420D OXFORD material on the outside. The material is lightweight and unusually resistant to abrasion and cuts.
- Together with the water-repellent treatment, the backpack's lifespan has been increased, but at the same time, the weight has been reduced compared to the previous model. The backpack can withstand really tough handling.

For the innovative O-FLEX-2 BACK SYSTEM, ORTOVOX developers collaborated with physiotherapists. The goal was to create a comfortable back system for all-day wear, and at the same time, ensure the backpack holds well even during descents. And they succeeded. The ORTOVOX HAUTE ROUTE 30 S backpack has access to the main compartment via a two-way zipper that runs along 3/4 of the back. 7 + 1 pockets
In addition to the main compartment, the backpack has seven other pockets:- Separate pocket for shovel and probe. Equipment doesn't get in the way and won't wet your belongings, and it's readily available when needed.
- Top pocket for gloves, hat, goggles, and other accessories that you frequently access and want to keep handy.
- Security pocket inside the main compartment, suitable for storing documents, money, and other valuables.

The back system consists of a solid structure and pressed foam placed in different cushioning zones
