120 COOL TEC Material

For the 120 COOL TEC material, Ortovox uses a combination of materials consisting of 52% merino wool, 33% TencelTM ^az 15% polyamide. The uniqueness of this material lies in the complex production process of the fibers themselves, CORESPUN technology developed by the Südwolle Group ^©. The highest quality merino wool and Tencel ^TM fibers are wrapped around a core of polyamide fibers. Using this technique, fibers are created that are very soft and smooth to the touch.

Highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.
