Sponge applicator:
- wash off mud and dirt with a clean cloth
- use Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel
- for applying Nubuck & Suede Proof, press the centre of the sponge
- apply to wet footwear
- allow to soak for 2-3 minutes, remove excess with a clean cloth, allow to dry before wearing
- wash off mud and dirt with a clean cloth
- use Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel
- spray the proofing onto the upper of the footwear
- allow to soak for 2-3 minutes, remove excess with a clean cloth, allow to dry before wearing
- For light or very colourful footwear, test on an inconspicuous area first.
- When the footwear is dry, it can be gently brushed to restore its original rougher appearance.
- Do not dry footwear near a stove, open fire, or leave in a closed room.
- Footwear can be stuffed with newspaper to speed up drying while maintaining its shape (newspaper needs to be changed).
