The Grivel FLEX BAR is a flexible and elastic connecting segment for Grivel crampons, designed for use with soft hiking boots. It allows for natural foot flexion while walking, increasing comfort and reducing stress on the connecting segment even with prolonged use. It is ideal for walking on glaciers and classic mountain terrain, but not intended for steep vertical ice.
The segment functions similarly to a shock absorber – it absorbs movement and vibrations between the boot and the crampon, making the boot attachment more stable and less stressed. It comes as a pair and is a practical accessory for users who want to adapt their hiking crampons to softer footwear.
